Our Team

Corey Hutchings

Corey has been working in archaeology in Newfoundland and Labrador since 2004. He has experience in Newfoundland, Labrador, Alaska, and Nunavut. He is also a licensed UAV (drone) pilot.

Corey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Archaeology from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) in 2007. He earned his MA in Archaeology from MUN in 2011, specializing in lithic analysis (stone tools).

Deirdre Elliott

Deirdre has been working in archaeology in Newfoundland and Labrador since 2015. She has experience in Newfoundland, Labrador, and Baffin Island, Nunavut. She is also a licensed UAV (drone) pilot.

Deirdre earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology/Biology from Laurentian University in 2014, specializing in zooarchaeology (animal bones). She earned her MA in Archaeology from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) in 2017, where she is currently a PhD candidate.

Together, we have over 30 years of combined experience in archaeology in Newfoundland, Labrador, and the Arctic. Our skills and services include:
